Shakespeare Festival St. Louis seeks Associate Director of Development

This is an amazing full-time opportunity for a proactive, creative development professional. Successful candidate will be a seasoned and energetic professional with a minimum of two years experience with database management, grant writing, grants management, prospect research, donor communication and special events, with a proven track record in raising support from foundation, corporate and government sources. This is a hands-on position requiring a self-starter with exceptional writing, communication and organizational skills, including the ability to meet with prospective and current funders. This position reports to the Director of Development and requires strong computer skills, experience with all Microsoft Office programs, and with Blackbaud Raiser’s Edge. Previous experience with not-for-profit arts fundraising required; interest, knowledge and background in theater a plus.
